Jobs and Training (COVID-19)

Your Jobs and Training team is still up and running.

Whatever you’re looking for – whether it’s a job now, training, help with writing CVs or preparing for interviews, or planning for the longer-term – we know we can get you on the right track.

This service is free to all our residents. To talk to us, call 0300 5000 926 and ask to be put through to the Jobs and Training team.

Searching for a job now

There are job opportunities available now – including in agriculture, supermarkets, warehousing and distribution. There are also plenty of roles available within the NHS and with other care service providers.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve not worked in these sectors before, we can help you identify your transferable skills.

Call us on 0300 5000 926 for more details or to find out how we can help you secure a role.

Online courses, support and grants available now

Here’s a taster of some of the great courses we have available for you now. Don’t worry if you don’t have access to a computer (or know how to use one) - we can sort that out, too.

Plus, when you take up a course with us, you’ll be assigned your own, personal work coach to help you get the job you want at the end of it. They can help you with anything from confidence building, to CV writing – right through to practising for interviews and general career coaching.
